Throughout our history, Beardow Adams has continually introduced innovative products and completed strategic acquisitions to develop our capabilities and grow our global customer base. Our revolutionary BAMFutura range of clean running hot melt adhesives was launched in 1998. 

Local presence, Global Impact
 

Since our beginnings in 1976, we have constantly grown our market presence thanks to export growth and innovation. Today, Beardow Adams is part of the H.B. Fuller group, a globally respected adhesive company with over fifty manufacturing sites in more than forty countries. As part of a truly global adhesive provider who understands local challenges and priorities, we are excited for the next chapter in Beardow Adams' history.

Beardow Adams have the following sites:

• Beardow & Adams (Adhesives) Limited Founded in 1976, our Milton Keynes headquarters houses the largest single hot melt adhesive plant in Europe. 

• BEARDOWADAMS, INC. was established in early 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Embracing four state-of-the-art production lines, this new facility has a capacity to produce up to 30,000 tonnes of hot melt adhesives to guaranteed specifications each year. The focus is upon high performance hot melts to meet the needs of the North American market.

• Beardow Adams GmbH in Frankfurt am Main is one of the oldest (founded in 1875) German producers of adhesives. It manufactures and develops environmentally friendly, solvent-free adhesives and is a distributor of Beardow Adams hot melt adhesives in Germany. Main application areas are labelling, packaging and paper, as well as automotive and other technical applications.

• Beardow Adams AB Landskrona, Sweden was founded in 1901. It designs and manufactures PVA, latex, starch and dextrin dispersion based adhesives. It has a capacity of 10,000 tonnes and is a distributor of Beardow Adams hot melt adhesives in the Nordic region. Applications include lamination, tube winding, printing, woodworking and packaging.

• Beardow Adams do Brasil Adesivos Ltda was set up in 2017. Due to a growing customer base in South America, the Group recognised the importance of strengthening its presence in this important geographical region and with the agreement of its local global partner, a direct representation, was established in Sao Paulo.

• Beardow Adams SAS, Having successfully established Beardow Adams do Brasil Adesivos in Sao Paulo, Brazil during 2017, Beardow Adams took the steps to support further growth in Latin America and inaugurated our latest subsidiary, Beardow Adams SAS in Bogota, Colombia in August 2018. 

Recognition
 

Our success has brought recognition, having won five Queen’s Awards for Industry. These were received in 1994, 1999, 2002, 2007 and 2012 for innovation and export growth.
