Production facilities

Beardow Adams is the largest hot melt adhesive company in the UK and has the largest adhesive production site in Europe.  With a current capacity of 40 000 tonnes and new capacity coming on line in 2009, we estimate that this represents around 4% of current global production of hot melt adhesives.

By having one integrated manufacturing facility, our products are consistent in formulation, quality and performance wherever thay are used across the globe.


Relationships with suppliers, contractors and partners


By totally focusing on hot melt adhesives, we can adopt new technology very quickly, leading the major global adhesive industry suppliers select us for evaluation and supply of new raw materials.  This, in turn, enhances our ability to innovate and be able to provide world class, problem solving adhesives to our customers that out perform rival formulations.

Our suppliers, together with our contractors and other partners are part of a chain.  We see honest and open relationships as key to our ability to deliver on our promises to our customers.  As an example, our strong supplier relationships have enabled us to keep our promises and not let customers down during significant raw material shortages over recent years.
