Adhesives for labelling hot cans and jars

Beardow Adams has a range of hot melt glues for labelling very hot glass or metal containers.

Positive label pick up is achieved where the can or jar arrives directly from the cooking process at temperatures up to 85°C. The adhesives will withstand high retained temperatures without staining the label during storage.

Typical applications would be in the manufacture of preserves, canned vegetables or fruit, pet foods, sauces and processes involving sterilisation.
