Adhesives for labelling shrinkable plastic labels

Beardow Adams has hot melt adhesives to work on reel fed, wrapround labelling machines applying polypropylene, polystyrene or PVC labels that are heat shrunk after application to follow the contours of the bottle or can.

Our hot melts have been developed to withstand the stress of the shrinking process at the high temperatures – up to 120°C – required for this application.  Adhesives are available both to bond the lap and to hold the label in place on the container.
