New Products The Research and Development department at Beardow Adams is continually developing products for new applications. The list below is a selection of some of the recent products. PRESSEN 1409 PRESSEN 1409 has been developed as a permanent pressure sensitive adhesive for the manufacture of label stock. BAM 1474 1474 has been formulated as a high grab labelling grade, for use where high ambient temperatures are encountered. PRESSEN 1525 PRESSEN 1525 is a full pressure sensitive adhesive, which exhibits excellent resistance to high and low temperatures combined with high levels of tack, shear and peel. Pressen 1525 is formulated to bond most plastics, metals, ceramics and woods. It has also been successful in the automotive industry where a high heat resistance is required. PRESSEN 1528 Pressen 1528 has been developed for label stock where direct food contact applications is required. It is suitable for meat tray soak pads,bag sealing and permanent self seal envelopes. PRESSEN 1530 Pressen 1530 has been formulated for use in the manufacture of bag sealing tapes. It has good initial grab, high cohesive strength and can be used with most bag materials. It can be used in tamper evident applications.
