The automotive industry makes high demands for bond longevity and heat resistance of up to 120°C. Beardow Adams’ PRODAS hot melts and PRESSEN hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives are used for bonding foam to foam, sound deadening composites, rear lamp assemblies, interior trim, bumpers, number plates and the attachment of roof liners.

Using hot melt adhesives in automotive interiors has gathered pace as new products meet the temperature and vibration resistance requirements demanded by the car industry. Rear lamp assemblies are also sealed and bonded with Beardow Adams’ hot melts.
