Edgebanding Adhesives

Beardow Adams has a comprehensive range of technically advanced adhesive solutions for the woodworking sector for applications such as edgebanding, precoating, profile wrapping, foam bonding, v-grooving and general assembly.

Our edgebanding adhesives are proven to withstand very high temperatures for a number of days without delaminating and are widely used in the furniture industry on a global scale. Our BAMFutura™ range of hot-melt woodworking adhesives are of our most popular as they are clean, easy to handle and continue to outperform standard filled adhesives.

BAM 1667 is our general purpose, cost-effective and best-selling high-performing hot-melt for the woodworking industry. This adhesive exhibits good heat resistance, has a fast melt down rate and is suitable on most commercial edgings including PVC, HPL and wood lipping.

BAM 834 is our high-performance hot melt for edgebanding/soft forming on fast machines. The adhesive is particularly clean running and offers high mileage. BAM 834’s relatively low viscosity ensures good flow and wetting gives high levels of adhesion to most commercial edgings. This hot melt is suitable for most common machines including HOMAG and IMA.

Beardow Adams’ edgebanding adhesives exhibit superior bonding of PVC, HLP, solid wood, melamine, wood veneer and many other materials to MDF and particle board.

Using unique raw materials and production processes to create woodworking adhesives that surpass the performance of stand adhesives is commonplace here at Beardow Adams. Customers are guaranteed value for their money and can look forward to high efficiency, great mileage, better adhesion, and proven cost savings.
